By using this product, you can obtain all the advantages of the Captiva filter plate in the same way as the standard SPE single barrel format.
0.2µm and 0.45µm filters are suitable for removing precipitated protein samples as a pre-treatment for LC/MS analysis. The Captiva 10µm glass fiber filter is designed to purify samples containing a lot of particles, such as fresh frozen plasma, thereby preventing issues with sample delivery caused by pipette tip clogging. The 3mL Non-Drip (ND) filter with a pore size of 0.2μm can be used with either methanol or acetonitrile and is designed to accommodate workflows using a vacuum manifold. By using these fast and easy-to-use single-sample cartridges, you can effectively remove precipitated proteins and particles. The ND lipid filter can also remove phospholipids from the sample, which can cause ion suppression prior to LC-MS.
